About Gozo

Gozo may be the smaller of the two main islands but certainly has as much to offer as its big sister. The Gozo Channel ferry is a frequent service between the two islands taking no more than 20 minutes as it glides across the blue lagoon to dock at the pretty harbour close to Victoria the capital.

The island hosts the wonderful Gozo 123 festival every May and has numerous carnivals and feasts during the year. With a church for every week in the year and home to the famous Ta Pinu and a replica of St. Peters Basilica, in the stunning St. Georges Cathedral in Victoria, this small island is steeped in history just waiting to be discovered.

Set  amidst all of this history are the wonderful spa resorts, amazing self catering farmhouses, apartments and waterfront hotels.  The blue lagoon surrounds the island and is a mecca for divers, deep sea fishing, snorkling and all forms of water sports. Padi Dive courses are readily available on the island.

For a wedding abroad, Gozo is a wonderful place as nothing is far away (15 mins anywhere on the island). Accomodation is excellent value and the beaches are clean and stunningly beautiful, perfect for that beach wedding photograph! Wether you want to sample seafood at a waterfront restaurant in Marsalforn, fine dinning at Ta Frenc or a cold beer in Victoria in the hub of the markets. Gozo will leave you & your wedding guests forever smitten.

The Gozitans are so wecloming and proud of their island and what it has to offer. It remains truely Gozitan and excudes all that is wonderful about the Med, great buildings, history, stunning views, wonderful sunsets, warm people and exquisite food.  All of which enrich any wedding abroad, leaving lasting memories.
